24/7 Online Radio – 24/7 Blues Radio

The British webcast service 24/7 Blues Radio is part of the internationally operating 24/7 Online Radio Group, which runs a specialized network of web services and internet radios. The station dedicates itself around the clock to the blues genre and streams its program worldwide via the internet as well as via mobile apps to listeners outside countries such as the USA or France, which are excluded due to licensing structures by geo-protection.

Musically, the station sets itself apart from commercial programs by consistently relying on non-PRO music. This means that the played tracks originate from independent artists, composers, and producers who are not registered with collecting societies. The licenses for broadcasting are acquired by the operators directly through agreements with the rights holders or specialized music libraries, allowing listeners far from the mainstream to experience a focused and independent blues repertoire.
