Alive Radio – 00s

Alive Radio – 00s focuses exclusively on the music of the first decade of the new millennium. The Dutch web radio station revives the sounds of the years 2000 to 2009 and offers a targeted journey through an era stylistically shaped by the commercial dominance of Eurodance, the rise of R&B-pop, and the revival of garage rock. Listeners will find a curated selection that acoustically reflects the transition from analog to digital listening habits.

The programming is characterized by the genre-crossing mix typical of the decade. From anthemic dance tracks that dominated clubs worldwide, to the catchy guitar riffs of the indie wave, to the urban beats of mainstream hip-hop, the station covers the broad spectrum of the 2000s. Alive Radio – 00s deliberately avoids current hits and consistently focuses on the nostalgic core of this era. By concentrating on this specific decade, the offering targets listeners who are specifically seeking the chart-toppers and cult one-hit wonders of this period, without being interrupted by current moderation or today’s news.
