Alpenpower

Alpenpower is a web radio station specializing in folk music and schlager. The stream is broadcast around the clock with hits from artists such as the Brugger Buam, Nockalm Quintett, Zillertaler Edelweiss Duo, Calimeros and Ernst Hutter & Die Egerländer Musikanten.

The program features continuous music shows with oldies, folk and world music elements. There are references to live-hosted shows, such as a Disco-Fox show with Rudy in the evenings. Alpenpower is active as a user-generated station on the laut.fm platform and targets fans of traditional Alpine music.

The station is associated with the Chiemgau in Bavaria, although some sources also mention Baden-Württemberg. It is a purely internet-based offering without terrestrial frequencies.
