Antenne Niederrhein – Dein X-mas Radio

In the Kleve district, Antenne Niederrhein – Dein X-mas Radio complements the local information offering with a purely seasonal music stream. The focus is entirely on Advent and Christmas, and the programme reaches listeners across the entire Lower Rhine region. Musically, the offshoot concentrates on a mix of international pop classics from recent decades and contemporary productions. Well-known voices such as Mariah Carey, Wham! or Chris Rea shape the playlist, which does without the usual current-affairs segments of the main station.

The sound design relies on a dense sequence of festive music, ranging from orchestral arrangements to modern interpretations of well-known winter songs. While the home station is based in Kleve and broadcasts in the region on FM frequencies such as 102.1 MHz or 98.0 MHz, the X-mas Radio serves as a digital supplementary offering. It largely dispenses with classic presenter-led segments and instead puts the reflective atmosphere in the foreground. In this way, the station serves a specific target group in North Rhine-Westphalia that, apart from the regular charts, seeks continuous musical accompaniment for the holidays.
