Berlin 80er Radio

Berlin 80er Radio is a theme‑related online radio that devotes itself musically and editorially entirely to the decade of the 1980s. The program focuses on pop, rock, new wave and characteristic synth sounds of that era. Musically, both international hits and the local Berlin music scene of those years are in focus.

Besides the music program, the station runs an editorial blog. There, the editorial team around author Matthes publishes contributions on city history, historical events such as divided Berlin during the Cold War, as well as cultural phenomena and youth rituals. Listeners can submit music requests via a dedicated e‑mail address.
