bigFM Hessen

bigFM Hessen is a regionalized offshoot of the private broadcaster group rooted in southwestern Germany. The programming focuses on an urban music profile with a clear emphasis on Hip-Hop, R&B, and current chart productions. As part of the network-wide strategy, the offering is specifically targeted at a young audience in Hesse and is distributed via digital channels such as internet radio and the station’s own app.

Content-wise, large-scale entertainment formats such as the Morningshow and special shows like the Kürzeste Show der Welt with Laura Larsson shape the profile. The station relies on a close integration of music and interactive elements, including prize competitions such as the search for up-and-coming DJs or exclusive travel events. The programming is complemented by daily celebrity news, stories from the music business, and various genre streams such as Afrobeats or Dance Radio, which are available on the digital platform of bigFM Hessen.
