Countrystation FM

Behind Countrystation FM, a sister station of the Radio Deich project, lies a purely digitally oriented radio offering with a clear focus on the American genre. The programme is dedicated intensively to the Nashville sound and brings both current titles from artists such as the Brothers Osborne and international country classics directly to the net. Musically, honest lyrics and melodic guitar sounds characterise the stream, which can be received via common players as well as formats like Winamp and VLC.

A central component of the offering is the interactive show Nicky’s Nashville Night, within the framework of which listeners can vote on the station’s own country charts and help shape the hit lists. In addition to the specialised US stream, the station operates another pillar with schlager and oldies. Via digital request boxes, there is also the possibility to transmit one’s own music titles directly to the studio.
