CurryFinale

The internet radio station CurryFinale, distributed via the laut.fm platform, cannot be pinned down to a single music genre. Although a self-description with Hardcore Hardtekk, Rap and Hip-Hop advertises it, the actual broadcast operation shows a clearly broader spectrum. In the program’s rotation, alongside genre heavyweights such as Celo & Abdi or Grim104, international pop acts like Madonna, Sabrina Carpenter and Harry Styles appear again and again. Moreover, the station integrates established pop and rock bands such as Metallica, Modern Talking, Kraftklub or Mono Inc. into its daily routine.

The structure of CurryFinale follows the typical principle of user-generated stations on the laut.fm infrastructure. Besides the music blocks that run under the name Rotation, the station falls back on automated news and weather services. Listeners receive the signal via common streaming portals such as radio.de or phonostar as well as via smart-speaker connection. The control of the playlist and the editorial supervision are carried out via the platform operator’s interface, which enables a quick succession of different styles and makes the station a mixed, constantly varying digital sound source.
