laut.fm – Deutschrap-total

Behind laut.fm – Deutschrap-total is a purely digital offering from the Konstanz-based platform laut.fm, which is entirely focused on hip-hop culture in its programming. The format forgoes traditional editorial segments and instead relies on a continuous rotation that integrates both established German rap acts and international influences into the programming. The musical focus is on a mix of current productions and genre-typical tracks. The playlist regularly features acts such as Apache 207, Die P, or Audio88 & Yassin, with the spectrum deliberately extending beyond purely German-language tracks and intentionally incorporating international heavyweights such as Little Simz or Atmosphere.

The station can be received exclusively via web-based streaming through the infrastructure of the laut.fm platform. Listeners access the audio stream directly via streaming URLs or use the official applications for iOS and Android. In addition, the station is available through aggregating services such as radio.de or phonostar, as well as via voice command through Alexa Skills. Technically, the station is based on automated management by users of the laut.fm community, who are also responsible for compiling the rotation. This makes the program one of numerous specialty stations in the network of laut.ag, which has been operating with a user-generated approach for many years.
