DR P2

DR P2 serves as the public-service culture and classical music programme of the Danish broadcaster Danmarks Radio. Based in DR Byen in Copenhagen, the station focuses primarily on classical music but also covers adjacent genres and cultural topics. The programme is broadcast nationwide via DAB+ and as a live stream, while the analogue FM frequencies have been shared with the news and information station DR P1 since a restructuring in 2011.

Regular programming includes formats such as Pladeklubben, which examines individual works in depth, and the programme Klassisk weekend for Saturday and Sunday mornings. In addition to studio recordings, the station regularly broadcasts live concerts, particularly those of the DR Symfoniorkestret from its own concert hall, the DR Koncerthuset. The musical range extends from Baroque and Renaissance to contemporary composition, complemented by editorial features on Danish cultural life.
