Hi On Line Lounge Radio

The Dutch internet radio Hi On Line Lounge Radio is entirely devoted to the lounge genre and broadcasts a round-the-clock music program. The focus is on electronic downtempo sounds, ambient surfaces, and relaxed rhythms that come without classic vocal contributions or moderation.

A technical feature of the station is its orientation toward HiFi enthusiasts. The stream is broadcast in real time with a constant data rate of 320 kbps in MP3 format, based on SACD source material at 192 kHz. Listeners can receive the program around the clock via common audio players such as Winamp or iTunes, as well as via network-capable streaming systems and multiroom components from brands like Sonos, Bluesound, Aurender, and Roon.
