Hochsachsen

The station, based in the Hochsachsen region, is devoted entirely to classical music. The programme reflects the historical diversity of symphonic works, Baroque compositions, and intimate chamber music. Free from commercial hustle, the audio offering is aimed at listeners who wish to engage deeply with masterworks of music history. From Baroque orchestral works to late Romantic symphonies, time-honoured interpretations shape the daily broadcast.

Set within the Saxon cultural sphere, the music selection draws on a rich regional musical heritage. The programme eschews conventional format-radio elements and instead lets the works speak in their timeless form. In this way, Hochsachsen provides a focused soundscape for an audience that values fidelity to the score and an undisturbed approach to the classical repertoire.
