laut.fm – Hotmusic

As part of the laut.fm network, the station Hotmusic focuses on a broad spectrum of urban sounds. The music programme is primarily made up of genres such as Hip-Hop, R’n’B and Trap, with the profile complemented by influences from the Club-Music scene. The station offers a mix of current productions and genre classics. Artists regularly heard include Drake, The Notorious B.I.G. and Beginner. Occasionally, the playlist also opens up to electronic music styles, for example through tracks from the Minimal scene.

Broadcasting is purely digital as a web stream and is available via various radio platforms such as radio.de or phonostar as well as through a dedicated mobile app. Technically, reception is also integrated via an Alexa-Skill. The programme structure is based on a continuous rotation, which is interrupted by fixed broadcast slots such as the Rotation. Behind the station is the laut.fm infrastructure, which allows users and DJs to independently design their own radio channels. Listeners will thus find the offering among the operator’s community-curated streams.
