Italoradio.fm

The Dutch web radio station Italoradio.fm focuses entirely on European pop music with a clear emphasis on Italo Disco and electronic dance sounds of the 1980s. The station broadcasts around the clock via the internet and targets lovers of synthesizer sounds, retro waves, and continental disco productions.

Distribution is purely digital via various stream formats, including playback options for common media players such as Winamp, QuickTime and Windows
Media Player as well as the Dutch platform RadioNed. For mobile listening with lower data consumption, the project also integrates external player services like Zeno FM. Listeners can track the most recently played titles in real time on the web presence.

Via social media channels like Twitter and Facebook, the team stays in touch with its audience. Without terrestrial FM frequencies, Italoradio.fm operates as a pure niche program that keeps the typical dance-pop sound of a bygone era alive in online radio.
