jungletrain.net – 24/7 drum and bass

Since 2002, the online platform jungletrain.net has been broadcasting electronic beats worldwide from the Netherlands without interruption. The focus of the purely digital program is consistently on the genres Jungle and Drum & Bass. Listeners can choose between various stream qualities from 64 to 256 kbps on the website to adapt the audio signal to their own bandwidth. Outside broadcast hours, an automated jukebox takes over the music supply and plays tracks by artists such as Paradox.

The core of the project consists of live broadcasts in which DJs from various countries present their sets. Accompanying the broadcasts is a moderated chatroom that serves as a digital meeting point for the community. Clear rules apply there: communication is in English, and sharing audio links during shows is taboo in order to focus attention entirely on the DJs’ performance.
