About the station
Behind the station name TuffWaves on the laut.fm platform is a purely digitally distributed pop radio station from Germany. The concept relies on an unconventional music selection that runs far from standardized radio playlists and can be heard as part of the show Rotation.
The playlist breaks with rigid genre boundaries and brings together artists such as Taylor Swift, Bilderbuch, Fontaines D.C., Echo & the Bunnymen and Europe in one stream. This range is complemented by electronic club sounds from Moguai or HUGEL as well as singer-songwriter tracks.
The programme can be received via common aggregator platforms such as radio.de and phonostar, directly through the laut.fm own apps for iOS and Android, and by voice command via the Alexa skill. Listeners can also play the stream directly through player files in MP3 or M3U format.
