About the station
Behind the purely digitally distributed station WAVE 24 on the laut.fm platform is a pop-oriented full-format programme, streamed over the internet. Listeners can access the station’s offering via browser, popular aggregator services such as radio.de and phonostar, as well as through mobile apps for Android and iOS. Integration into smart home systems via an Alexa skill has also been set up.
Musically, the programme covers a broad range, from current pop productions and hip-hop to electronic influences. The rotation features tracks by well-known acts such as Sarah Connor, Drake, Harry Styles, Madonna and Kylie Minogue, alongside cross-genre tracks by artists such as Fritz Kalkbrenner or Childish Gambino. Regular shows such as Rotation structure the flow of the stream.
The music output is complemented by short in-programme service elements such as the laut.fm weather report. Distribution is purely web-based via direct streaming URLs in MP3, M3U and PLS formats, which makes access possible worldwide, independent of conventional FM or DAB+ frequencies.
