MC2 – Buddha Bar Collection

The web radio station MC2 – Buddha Bar Collection is part of the Italian network RMC2 and is based in Milan. The service is operated by Heddy Media S.r.l., based in Via G.B. Pergolesi, while editorial and publishing responsibility lies with Qwerty Edizioni Srl. The program is musically dedicated to the genres Lounge, Chill-Out and Ethno-Beat.

Besides the main focus on electronic relaxation music and world music influences, the station integrates thematically related categories such as Smooth Jazz and special sampler series like the spin-off Cafè Del Mar into its digital portfolio. Broadcasting takes place purely digitally via the Internet, with technical and administrative processes coordinated from the location in Milan’s city center.

For the operation of the web service, the station relies on licensing agreements with Italian collecting societies, including SIAE and SCF. The distribution of streams is closely networked with the platform structures of Radio Monte Carlo, as a result, the online offering is deeply embedded in the Italian radio landscape.
