Mediterranea Radio

Mediterranea Radio positions itself as a dance station with its origins directly in the Maltese Mediterranean. The station operates primarily as a digital radio station and reaches its audience via online streaming. Musically, the programme focuses on a mix of international dance music and well-known Italian tracks. The format thus targets listeners seeking electronic beats with a Mediterranean influence, with the editorial focus extending beyond music to include tourist information about Malta and local events on the island.

Behind the editorial work stands the structure of an Italian “All News” publication based in Adrano, Sicily, headed by Vincenzo Sangrigoli. This organisational link to Italian media structures also shapes the orientation of the content, which goes beyond pure music playback. The station, registered as a journalistic medium since 2021, uses modern transmission paths such as mobile applications and internet streams to reach its target audience, without relying on classic terrestrial FM frequencies.
