NPO BLEND

In the Netherlands, NPO Blend targets all lovers of urban music genres. As a successor to the station NPO Soul & Jazz, the program dedicates itself entirely to classic sounds as well as more modern productions from the realms of R&B, Soul and Hip Hop. Musically, the repertoire spans an arc from the 1970s to the present, with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo.

The line-up includes specialized shows like Jaimy’s Jamz, hosted by Jaimy de Ruijter. Besides the musical focus, the program also addresses current social topics and cultural contributions, such as discussions about voice messages or musical analyses about artists like J. Cole.
