laut.fm – Ostwelle

The online radio station laut.fm – Ostwelle focused musically on pop history, Schlager and rock, as well as traditional sounds from the former GDR. In addition to well-known artists such as Frank Schöbel, Monika Herz, and Berluc, the repertoire also included GDR rock bands and pieces from the NDW, folk music, and children’s songs genres. Special program formats such as the Ostparade and the Jahreshitparade shaped the historical music profile of the station.

The purely digital offering, distributed via the laut.fm platform, was available via streaming URL, through common radio aggregators like radio.de and phonostar, and via voice control through Amazon Alexa. The station’s broader musical spectrum also included tracks by artists such as Muck, Bärbel Wachholz, and the Gitarreros. The station has since permanently ceased broadcasting.
