laut.fm – Outdoor

As part of the laut.fm platform, the web radio station Outdoor occupies a musical niche between Alternative, Indie and Rock. The programming eschews fixed presenter formats and instead relies on a rotating music selection that encompasses both current productions and established bands. Artists in the repertoire include acts such as Foo Fighters, The Lumineers, The Wombats and The Embassy, complemented by influences from the Country and Mainstream genres. The station sees itself as a digital destination for listeners who, away from established FM formats, are looking for a specific mix of guitar-driven and atmospheric sounds.

Reception of laut.fm – Outdoor is available exclusively through digital channels, whether directly via web browser, by stream URL, or through the common iOS and Android applications. Integration into smart home systems via the Alexa Skill is also possible. In addition to the continuous music programming, organised in broadcast stretches such as „Durch den Tag“, the programme offers news updates on the hour. The technical infrastructure is based on the open concept of laut.fm, in which the editorial management of individual stations is carried out by independent producers.
