Play Radio Albania – Play Vibes

Under the name Paper Radio, a media platform operates that extends its broadcast area far beyond Albania’s borders. The station supplies parts of Kosovo, including the capital Pristina, Fushë Kosovë and Lipjan on the frequency 91.1 MHz, as well as numerous cities in Albania with a supra-regional network. Among the most important locations in Albania are Tirana and Dajt Mountain (also 91.1 MHz), Durrës (101.8 MHz), Fier (104.1 MHz), Vlorë (102.7 MHz) as well as the coastal towns of Himarë (88.9 MHz) and Sarandë including Ksamil on 88.6 MHz.

The programming of Paper Radio positions itself not as a pure music station, but integrates a pronounced journalistic component. In addition to a musical backdrop, the station, under the slogan “Based on a true story”, devotes itself to a variety of topics from the fields of current affairs, cultural history and science. The content ranges from philosophical considerations on democracy and mythology to curious facts about international cuisine or biological phenomena. Thus, the station differs from pure format-radio-oriented providers and sets a focus on in-depth content as well as current reporting directly from Pristina.
