Radio 91.2 – Dein Karnevals-Radio

Under the name Radio 91.2 – Dein Karnevals-Radio, Germany is home to a programme devoted entirely to German Schlager and festive carnival music. The station is dedicated wholly to the sounds traditionally associated with Karneval, Fastnacht and boisterous celebrations. At the heart of its output are catchy melodies, sing-along choruses and the typical party music performed on stage by well-known artists of the genre.

The musical profile conveys the characteristic atmosphere of grand carnival sessions and hall events. Without distraction from content outside the genre, the focus is on a continuous flow of party Schlager, traditional brass band arrangements and popular carnival hits. The offering is thus aimed specifically at an audience in Germany that enthusiastically cherishes the fifth season and German-language Schlager and values the music culture surrounding them.
