Radio Gloria

Radio Gloria has been Switzerland’s first Catholic radio station since 2004 and explicitly aligns itself with the teaching authority of the Roman Catholic Church. It broadcasts 24/7 news from the Church and society, Catholic contributions, Christian music, and programmes from partners such as Radio Horeb, Vatican Radio, and K-TV.

The schedule includes daily Holy Masses, Rosaries, programme tips for festivals and pilgrimages, as well as podcasts. Radio Gloria was established on the occasion of the papal visit of John Paul II and today broadcasts year-round via DAB+, Astra satellite, cable networks in German-speaking Switzerland, Swisscom TV, internet radio, and app. Occasional FM short broadcasts complement the offering. The studio is located at Baldegg Monastery.

The station is funded through donations and is aimed at believers as well as those distant from the Church.
