Radio Maia

Based in the Bulgarian coastal town of Burgas, Radio Maia focuses on a mix of current pop productions and editorial content. The station operates in close partnership with the local media company RN TV, which provides, among other things, digital internet services and IP television in the region. The program structure is clearly divided into daily blocks, with the focus in the morning hours on the show Morsko utro (Sea Morning), which serves as the central information format for listeners.

In addition to the morning news blocks, the program dedicates the early afternoon to a special segment under the title Digest: here, news and background stories from the world of show business take center stage. While the remaining broadcast time between 4:00 PM and midnight as well as in the early morning hours is primarily characterized by curated music blocks, the station remains strongly rooted in its regional orientation. The broadcast format forgoes complex talk segments and instead relies on a straightforward structure that reflects the urban character of Burgas and directly appeals to the audience through local relevance.
