Radio Radicale

The Italian broadcaster Radio Radicale has established itself as the historical voice of political and institutional affairs in Rome. At the core of the programme are the daily transmission and publication of parliamentary sessions as well as debates from the institutions. Thus the programme serves as an indispensable audio archive of the Italian Republic.

In addition to the plenary sessions of the Camera dei Deputati, the fixed broadcast content includes recordings of the Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura and meetings of various parliamentary committees. This parliamentary reporting is supplemented by in-depth interviews on current political topics, news formats such as Notiziario del mattino and regular programmes like Stampa e regime, which analyse the day’s political events.

The purely word-based programme consistently foregoes music and instead focuses entirely on political debates, court proceedings, demonstrations and party conventions. Listeners gain direct access to the primary sources of political opinion‑forming in Italy via the live stream and the extensive online archive.
