Radio Regenbogen 70er Rock

As a specialized digital offshoot of the private Baden-Württemberg broadcaster Radio Regenbogen, Radio Regenbogen 70er Rock is entirely dedicated to the raw sounds of a defining musical decade. The main program, which broadcasts to Baden, Württemberg, and the Palatinate, expands its digital portfolio with this genre-specific channel by adding a targeted musical style. Listeners can enjoy classics of Hard Rock, Progressive Rock, and Glam Rock that defined the era of vinyl records and stadium concerts in the 1970s.

The web channel largely dispenses with traditional radio hosting and instead focuses on the music of pioneering bands. Listeners can access the stream worldwide via the station’s website and its proprietary app. The offering is further enhanced by its connection to the main editorial department, which provides regional news for southwestern Germany and carries well-known brands from the parent organization, such as the charity campaign Kinder unterm Regenbogen (Children under the Rainbow) or information about the Radio Regenbogen Award.
