Radio Regenbogen Weihnachten Deine Christmas Hits im Weihnachtsradio

Radio Regenbogen Weihnachten complements the digital portfolio of Radio Regenbogen, a private broadcaster based in Mannheim. As a specialized web stream, the offering focuses on a continuous music compilation for the Advent and Christmas season. While the main program is broadcast terrestrially via FM and DAB+ in large parts of Baden-Württemberg and the Palatinate, this channel is one of many niche streams available exclusively online. It largely forgoes classic drive-time moderation and instead places international pop classics and traditional holiday songs at the center of its programming.

The offering draws on the journalistic infrastructure of the parent company, which means that listeners on this niche channel also receive hourly news from Germany and around the world, as well as targeted reports from the regions of Baden and the Palatinate. A fixed part of the station’s identity is the integration of the social initiative Kinder unterm Regenbogen, which collects donations annually for projects in the southwest. Musically, the selection includes well-known tracks by artists such as Chris Rea, Melanie Thornton, or Wham, supplemented by modern productions from the current charts and occasional reinterpretations of classic Christmas songs.
