Radio Rock 106.6

Founded in 1984, Radio Rock 106.6 has shaped the Italian radio landscape for four decades with a clear focus on rock music. In addition to its main programme, the station broadcasts the special stream Radio Rock Italia, which is dedicated exclusively to national rock music. A regular part of the schedule includes the show Citofonare Maurovich, which airs in the evening.

The broadcast area covers classic FM frequencies such as 106.6 in Rome and the surrounding area, 104.9 in Rieti, and 93.2 in the provinces of Viterbo and Terni. In addition, the programme is available via DAB+ in numerous Italian metropolitan areas and regions such as Milan, Turin, Genoa, Naples, and Florence. The distribution is further complemented by live streams, a dedicated app, and video streams on Twitch.

In addition to music programming, the station invests in media projects such as its in-house music school Master of Rock for instrumental training, as well as editorial content through podcasts and the station’s own blog. In collaboration with partner EnergRed, measures for ecological sustainability have also been implemented at the station’s location to make operations more environmentally friendly.
