About the station
Under the name Radio RSG – Dein Karnevals Radio, a German online service broadcasts, devoted entirely to popular German-language Schlager music and the fifth season. The programme is aimed specifically at listeners who appreciate traditional German Schlager as well as carnival party music. Musically, the focus is on the cheerful, folksy and party-friendly side of the genre, which especially during the Session season creates an exuberant atmosphere.
The station brings the spirit of Rhenish joie de vivre directly into your speakers. Without conventional regional FM frequencies in the sense of a traditional regional radio station, the programme can be received via the internet. It forgoes complex spoken segments and instead consistently concentrates on the uninterrupted broadcasting of Schlager and carnival hits, which evoke memories of hall events, parades and festive gatherings.
