Radio Shangri La

Based in Germany, Radio Shangri La is a specialized internet radio station entirely devoted to the musical diversity of Latin American sounds. The programming is specifically aimed at listeners who, beyond the mass-appeal of format radio, seek authentic and genre-typical rhythms. The station forms an audible acoustic bridge to the rich musical culture of the various Latin American regions.

The musical repertoire features a continuous selection of styles such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, as well as modern urban trends and contemporary Latin Pop. Through its unwavering focus on this specific musical emphasis, the web radio clearly distinguishes itself from classic full-service programs. Rigid broadcast schedules and extensive spoken contributions are dispensed with, so that the focus remains permanently on the uninterrupted acoustic experience of these passionate music genres.
