Radio Swiss Pop

As part of the digital portfolio of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR), Radio Swiss Pop broadcasts a continuous music programme without interruptions. The concept completely dispenses with presenters, news and advertising blocks to ensure constant musical accompaniment. The station focuses on a selection of pop and rock songs from the past four decades, covering a broad spectrum from international chart hits to Swiss productions. Programming is produced from the SRG SSR headquarters and serves as a counterpart to the specialist channels Radio Swiss Jazz and Radio Swiss Classic.

Distribution is primarily digital via DAB+ and as a webstream, ensuring nationwide availability in Switzerland. Listeners have online access to an extensive music database where tracks from the last hours and days can be researched. The musical spectrum ranges from artists such as the Eagles or Simply Red to Swiss artists like Anna Rossinelli, with the focus on an easily accessible, radio-friendly sound carpet. Due to its advertising-free and presenter-free format, the channel positions itself as a purely musical companion that eliminates technical interruptions in favour of continuous playback flow.
