About the station
Radio Taormina broadcasts from Taormina on the east coast of Sicily and combines pop music with local news. According to the website, classics are played alongside current new releases. The programme can be received via FM, DAB+, digital terrestrial television and online streams and apps. A sister offering, Radio Taormina TV, adds a video channel to the radio service.
The website’s notable sections are Musica and Interviste, along with news from Taormina, Messina and the Ionian coastal area (Jonio). The offering also includes podcasts such as Over the pop, Detto tra noi, Tao Mattina and Vintage Club, which stand as independent formats alongside the daily programme.
The homepage shows a list titled „Top Artisti del momento“, featuring among others Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, Peggy Gou, Ligabue and Gaia. The focus is thus on international pop, complemented by Italian acts.
