Radio Tirana Fëmijë

Radio Tirana Fëmijë is a specialist station from the Albanian capital that is exclusively aimed at a younger audience. As part of the public broadcasting network Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH), it serves as a digital offering to provide children in Albania and around the world with a platform tailored to their specific needs. The programming focuses not only on pure entertainment but also positions itself as a cultural archive for Albanian children’s songs, audio dramas, and narrated fairy tales rooted in national identity.

The musical focus is on child-friendly productions, often drawn from the extensive RTSH archive, supplemented by modern compositions for the youngest generation. The programmes convey educational content, promote the Albanian language, and make space for the voices of children themselves. Through this focus on an exclusively children’s repertoire, the station clearly distinguishes itself from the general programmes of the RTSH network. Without a focus on current chart music or news, Radio Tirana Fëmijë offers a calm, safe listening space that is particularly sought after by parents and educators looking for media-educational content.
