Radioaktiva

The Colombian radio station Radioacktiva is firmly rooted in rock music and broadcasts on FM in the country’s major metropolitan areas. Listeners in the capital Bogotá receive the programme on frequency 97.9 FM, while in Medellín it is broadcast on 102.3 FM. In addition to its purely musical focus on rock, the programme also covers topics such as technology, film, television and sport in dedicated segments.

Among the best-known programme formats are shows such as El Gallo, The Rock Show and Correo de la Noche. The lineup is shaped by regular presenters who guide listeners through the day. Content-wise, the team covers the latest news from the international and national music scene, reports on tours by major rock bands and hosts interactive segments such as the search for the humorous Idiota de la Semana as part of the show El Gallo.
