laut.fm – Radioalexfmkids

The project Radioalexfmkids, hosted on the platform laut.fm, is dedicated to the genre of children’s radio. As a purely digital web radio, the service uses the technical infrastructure of the streaming platform to provide content for a younger audience. Classic FM or DAB+ frequencies are not available for such internet-based niche programmes, as they are primarily designed as virtual audio projects and do not require terrestrial distribution channels.

A look at the station’s digital presence, however, shows that the service is now heavily restricted. The internet address originally associated with the project currently points to the sale of the domain, indicating inactivity or the abandonment of the independent web presence outside the streaming platform. Nevertheless, the name remains in the laut.fm directory as an example of the low-threshold creation of internet radio, in which private initiatives were able to stream audio content for children online without a classic broadcasting licence.
