About the station
In Italy, RMC Jazz is entirely devoted to the multifaceted world of jazz. The programme focuses on the sonic diversity of this genre and offers a curated selection ranging from classic recordings to contemporary currents. Listeners find here a continuous musical offering that deliberately dispenses with constant presenter commentary, so that the focus lies entirely on the instrumental and vocal dynamics of the compositions.
The station’s musical orientation reflects an international jazz perspective and integrates both well-known figures from jazz history and modern new releases. RMC Jazz thus positions itself as a pure music station within the Italian radio landscape. By dispensing with interrupting spoken contributions, a continuous listening flow emerges, offering room for the complex harmonies and improvisations that define the genre.
