laut.fm – Rpr 47

Rpr 47, also known as Ruhrpottradio 47, is a web radio station with a focus on pop and 80s music. The station streams hits by artists such as ABBA, Smokie, Peter Alexander, Die Fantastischen Vier and Big Mountain. Current playlists include tracks such as ‘Faust Auf Faust’ by Klaus Lage and ‘I Had (The Time Of My Life)’ by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes.

It is a user-generated online radio on the laut.fm platform, specializing in entertaining music shows such as ‘Musikalisch durch die 80er’ featuring Shakin’ Stevens, Michael Cretu and Ultravox. In contrast to the historic station RPR1 from Rhineland-Palatinate, which launched in 1986 as Germany’s first private radio station, Rpr 47 is a modern web radio without terrestrial frequencies. The stream is available around the clock and is aimed at fans of classic pop and oldies.
