Rthk Radio 3

RTHK Radio 3 is the English-language radio station of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), which launched on June 30, 1928 as Hong Kong’s first broadcasting station. It targets English-speaking listeners and offers a programme of news, information, entertainment and music that keeps pace with Hong Kong’s international tempo.

The station’s programming includes current shows such as Backchat on social issues, Money Talk on business and finance, and The 1 2 3 Show on lifestyle topics. Other highlights include Hong Kong Heritage with Annemarie Evans, which sheds light on forgotten aspects of local culture, and music formats such as Night Music on Radio 3 or Simon’s Rolled Gold. There are also programmes in Nepali, Urdu and Tagalog.

Radio 3 broadcasts mainly on AM 567 kHz across Hong Kong, with additional FM frequencies in selected areas, and is also available online.
