SBS Pop Desi

The Australian station SBS Pop Desi, which is part of the national network SBS Audio, targets the South Asian community in Australia with a specialized culture and music programme. The broadcast format combines current news and in-depth discussions with a strong musical focus on Bollywood hits, Bhangra, and contemporary World Music from the region.

On weekdays between 11:00 and 18:00, the programme broadcasts language-specific content in formats such as Hindi, while at all other times music blocks such as The Bollywood Session, Bhangra Hits, and Desi Dance Party are on air.
