laut.fm – Schlager Volksmusik

Under the name Musikantenradio, the project laut.fm – Schlager Volksmusik hosted on the laut.fm platform broadcasts a purely digital programme that is fully dedicated to German-language schlager and traditional folk music. The offering distributed solely via streams targets listeners who are specifically looking for classic melodies, folksy schlager, and well-known hits, without being distracted by today’s chart-pop crossover elements.

The music bed broadcast around the clock forgoes classic editorial programme slots or moderations with local news for certain German cities. Instead, the musical compilation takes centre stage, ranging from instrumental brass band sounds to swaying party schlager. The web radio is operated via the technical infrastructure of the streaming service laut.fm, which provides a platform for independent internet radio projects.
