Science Fiction – ROKiT Radio Network

The British network Science Fiction – ROKiT Radio Network dedicates itself as a non-profit streaming platform entirely to the legacy of historical radio formats. The focus is on the preparation and broadcast of classic radio plays and programs from the golden age of radio. In addition to the science fiction channel, the offering includes numerous other thematic strands such as Adventure Stories, Crime and Suspense, Mystery Radio as well as various comedy and music formats like Jazz Central and Classical Radio.

The financing of the non-profit project is covered by maintaining server structures and bandwidth costs to make historical audio recordings accessible to today’s audience. The programs are delivered via fixed program schedules for the individual channels, which can be received via mobile applications for Android and iOS as well as direct stream URLs.
