laut.fm – Sonny FM

Under the roof of the platform laut.fm, Sonny FM operates a digital channel dedicated consistently to hip hop. The station focuses on a curated selection of rap music that covers both the current zeitgeist and established currents within the scene. Listeners find a soundscape defined by hard-hitting beats, complex rhyme structures, and the genre’s typical aesthetic, without relying on the usual mass-compatible chart formats.

Since this is an offering designed by users and curators within the laut.fm network, the rotation at Sonny FM presents itself in a dynamic compilation that keeps its focus strictly on the urban music sector. The station foregoes classic moderation formats or elaborate spoken-word contributions so as not to interrupt the flow of tracks. Instead, the musical selection takes center stage, building a bridge between modern productions and the roots of hip hop to provide a consistent listening experience for fans of the subculture.
