laut.fm – Soundbar Nordheide

Under the umbrella of the laut.fm platform, the purely digitally broadcast project Soundbar Nordheide delivers an uncompromising music programme beyond the commercial radio mainstream. The focus is clearly on guitar-based subcultures, with the namesake emphasis on punk supplemented by a broad spectrum of styles.

The playlist brings together classics and boundary-pushing acts from genres such as Indie, Alternative Rock, Wave, Folk, Grunge and Britpop. Alongside acts like The Clash, The Offspring and My Chemical Romance, artists such as Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Monster Magnet and PJ Harvey also shape the acoustic profile. Regular programme features such as the show Klangzwang expand the musical horizon with curated compilations.

The purely internet-based offering is available via mainstream streaming platforms, radio directories and by voice command through the official Alexa skill. The station project thus specifically targets listeners who, beyond the major FM frequencies, are looking for handcrafted, guitar-heavy rock and punk music.
