laut.fm – Strauss FM

Behind Strauss FM lies a specialized web radio broadcast via the German platform laut.fm. Fully devoted to Jazz, the station dedicates itself to a rich musical tradition consisting of syncopated rhythms, expressive improvisation, and distinctive tone colors. The purely digitally distributed offering targets an audience that specifically seeks this genre and appreciates the virtuosity of solos, bass lines, and piano chords.

In rotation, different facets of jazz come together, ranging from relaxed, stripped-down arrangements to more complex, driving compositions. The selection avoids commercial radio formats and instead focuses entirely on the characteristic flow of the genre. This creates a continuous acoustic stream that runs both in the background and enables conscious, attentive engagement with the various styles of jazz.
