the wave – relaxing radio

Behind the purely digitally distributed offering The Wave – Relaxing Radio stands the audio network of RTL Radio Deutschland, based at the RTL Audio Center Berlin. The program is aimed at listeners across Germany who are specifically looking for relaxation. Distribution takes place exclusively through digital channels such as web streams and aggregator platforms.

Musically, the Lounge format consistently focuses on calm sounds, downbeat, ambient, and soft pop arrangements. Classical moderation segments, news blocks, and editorial contributions are largely dispensed with in order to ensure an uninterrupted musical flow. The concept aims for a consistent, unobtrusive acoustic atmosphere.
