laut.fm – Urbannerds

Behind the name Urbannerds lies a German audio project that is dedicated to the diversity of World Music. The programming forgoes classic chart rotations and instead puts musical traditions and contemporary sounds from around the world in the spotlight. Acoustic influences from African, Latin American, Asian, and Middle Eastern regions shape the sonic profile and reflect global cultural spaces.

The music selection blends folkloric roots with urban beats and experimental currents. This makes the offering aimed at listeners in Germany who are specifically looking for intercultural sounds and musical discoveries beyond the Eurocentric mainstream. Without fixed moderation segments or local FM frequencies, the stream focuses purely on the power of cross-border sounds and provides a digital stage for rhythms from around the world.
