XRaydio 1

Behind the Bulgarian online station XRaydio 1 is an internet radio that launched in 2011 and positions itself well away from the mainstream. The programme is funded through donations and an active community of supporters who ensure the operation of the web service. In addition to the main channel, the project includes further streams with XRaydio 2 and XRaydio 3.

Musically, the programme moves through a broad spectrum well beyond conventional radio norms. The regular repertoire includes genres such as Psychedelic Rock, Indie, Synthwave, Garage and Post-Punk, as well as Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Noise Rock. The rotation is complemented by electronic influences such as Acid House and Techno, as well as Vintage Funk, Disco, Vaporwave and nostalgic pop finds from the seventies and eighties.
