ABC South East SA

The public-service broadcaster ABC South East SA supplies the communities in the southeast of the Australian state of South Australia with relevant first-hand information. The focus is on regional news, current reports on politics and the economy, as well as coverage that directly affects life in rural and coastal communities. As part of the nationwide network of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the program combines local anchoring with strict journalistic standards.

Musical segments take a back seat in this purely information-oriented approach. Instead, in-depth reports, interviews with local decision-makers, and factual analyses shape the acoustic profile. Listeners receive detailed insights into regional development processes, agricultural topics, and societal debates. In this way, the broadcaster fulfills a clear supply mandate and serves as a reliable voice for the people in this specific region of Australia.
